Board Chair - Douglas Mwendwa
Mr. Mwendwa works as Senior Finance Manager for Jhpiego Kenya – an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, providing financial oversight of projects funded by various donors including United States agency for International Development (USAID), centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). He holds a B.A (Business Management), CPA(k) and CPS(k). He has 12 years experience in accounts having worked for Pollmans Tours & Safaris Ltd, Business Development services Ltd, Kenya Finance Bank among others in various capacities.

Mary Woki
Ms Woki is an accomplished academician. She is currently pursuing a PHD at Kimathi University. She is a holder of MBA-(Strategic management) and BSc. (Business Administration) from USIU among other academic achievements. She lectures at Multimedia University and Gretsa University in Thika respectively. Ms Woki also serves in the PCEA Shalom training College board. She represents the National Council of Churches of Kenya, NCCK.

John Mikisi
Mr. Mikisi is a holder of CPA Part II (KASNEB). He has 30 years working experience in Finance and Stocks Management. An Accountant by profession, he currently works at Total Kenya Limited as the Operations Assistant Manager. He is responsible for financial and operational issues to ensure cost optimization in the Operations Department. Besides work, he also serves as a Board Member at Sipala Secondary School in Bungoma & Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute - Nairobi. Among other responsibilities, he also serves as the Chair- Finance & Development at the Friends Children Development Initiative, a community based organization dealing with orphans, vulnerable children and widows

Wilson Gathogo
Mr. Gathogo is a lawyer by profession and an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya. Mr. Gathogo has worked as partner in Gathogo Kago & Manthi Advocates and associate advocate at Wambugu Motende Advocates. Currently he is a partner at Lesinko Njoroge & Gathogo Advocates

Dan Kimoro
Mr. Kimoro is a Quantity Surveyor. His assignments include assisting the company with the infrastructural expansion envisaged with the planned growth and relocation of old offices to the ground level and other technical investments within the company in order to support growth, image and preparation to become a deposit-taking institution. Kimoro is a holder of an M.Sc (Construction Management) and a B.A in Building Economics. He is currently the Principal Partner at Construction Cost Consultancy.

Nancy Gathuku
Ms Gathuku holds an MBA (Project Management) from Africa Nazarene University and Bcom (Risk Management) from University of South Africa. She has been head of Credit in Guardian Bank, Branch Manager Equity Bank, Credit Manager Fidelity Commercial bank and currently working as a Senior Regional Manager Cooperative Bank.

Eric Kisaka
Mr. Kisaka is a holder of a Master of Commerce Degree in Finance from the Strathmore University Nairobi. Eric Kisaka is the Group Risk and Compliance Manager at UAP Holdings, a Pan-African Financial services Group headquartered in Kenya. Before joining UAP, he was a Manager with PWC’s Advisory Practice in Nairobi, he has over eight years experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks, developing and reviewing business continuity plans, performing internal audits and assisting other organizations develop and implement corporate governance frameworks. Besides this, he is the Parish Treasurer at Reformed Church of East Africa.

Mary Macharia
Mrs. Mary Macharia has Accounting and Finance experience for over 16 years. She is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA K) and Computer Literate. She holds Bachelor of Commerce- Finance Option. She’s currently doing MSc. Commerce – Finance and Investment. Mary has worked in various institutions which include: Church Army Eastern Africa as a Bursar, All Saints Cathedral Church as an Accountant. She is currently the Finance Manager – The National Council of Churches of Kenya. Mary has been nominated by the NCCK as their Board Representative

Pat Gleeson
Pat brings over 30 years of microfinance and banking experience gained from working throughout the world in Europe, Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East. He previously served as the Director of Operations at the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance and has extensive experience in the establishment, management, governance, and capacity building of microfinance institutions. Pat has served on the Boards of a number of leading microfinance institutions and has successfully led and managed change across different cultures.

Mary Munyiri
Mary has been a practitioner in Microfinance Industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining ECLOF KENYA on 22nd February 2011 as a CEO, she was the Head of Business Development Department in Faulu Kenya Microfinance Bank. The following are some of her academic and professional achievements; Masters in Banking and Finance (MF Option) from Moi University, Bachelor of Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University, Higher Diploma in Psychological Counseling from Maranatha Institute of Counseling and Training, Diploma in Management from Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) as well as Certified Public Accounting (CPA). Her passion is in leadership capacity building and institution development.

Jeniffer Nyamanche
Jennifer specializes in both women and children outfits. She started her business in the 90s and through funding from ECLOF KENYA she has grown socially and economically, she has been able to buy her own plot and build a modern home. From humble beginnings she has been able to transit from a retail small cloth shop to an importer and selling on both retail and wholesale. From a working capital of less than 50,000 she has built a stable business empire worth over 3 million shillings. She attributes this to hard work, and funding from ECLOF KENYA. She represents clients’ interests in the board.
